Andrew Stone, the architect of the Cocoa Conspiracy, a local group of iOS developers and entrepreneurs, will be starting a new project in the Friday iOS group. Here’s a description from him. It’s a great opportunity to watch an app being developed from the ground up.
Besides our Thursday meetups at Winning Coffee, on the first and third friday of every month, we meet from 10:30 – 12:30 at SouthWest CyberPort’s http://www.ideasandcoffee.com for hands on coding – you are always free to bring your current projects and we provide free engineering and debugging and free ideas too.
My artist, musician and children’s book author pal Seth Hoffman wrote Janie & the Hummingbird | Community Publishing and the app is a multimedia easter egg full version of the book with music.
Seth & I have worked all week to take the app to a place where it’ll be easy to see where we are going, and I won’t fumble writing code – instead, I’m going to show the process of app building from ground zero (but have all the tricky pieces of code pre-built and pre-tested so we’re not thrashing and you won’t get bored.)
Then we’ll start a brainstorming of cool interactive ideas that we can work on to make the app very special over the next months.
Set your clock back tonight if you still have those kinds of clocks!
